Don’t let the Cats and Dogs go hungry!
The Kenton football wives club will be taking donations of cat or dog food, cat litter or dog collars, leashes and toys at the first home varsity football game against the Defiance Bulldogs. These items will be donated to the Hardin County Humane Society’s Pet Food Pantry and the Hardin County Dog Shelter. The Pet Food Pantry was created to help families who qualify to feed their animals so that they may be kept with the family. It was not meant as a cure, but a bandaid for those who have fallen on hard times. The Hardin County Dog Shelter houses an average of 400 dogs per year and operates on a budget from dog tag sales and adoption fees only. We appreciate any donations that you bring to help our furry friends in our community. We will have a table near the southwest gate and will be taking donations from the time the gates open until the end of the first quarter.
