On Tuesday, several Wildcat teams were in action. At the Hardin Co. YMCA, the swim team hosted Upper Sandusky and Ada. The girls team took 1st place (85 points, Upper Sandusky 56 & Ada 28) while the boys took 2nd (Upper Sandusky 87, Kenton 41 & Ada 40). The swimmers have a short break before sectionals on Saturday, Feb. 13.
The girls basketball team hosted River Valley in a non league contest. The girls fell just shy of the Vikings, losing 67-74. The girls will travel to Elida on Thursday before hosting Waynesfield on Saturday.
The wrestling team got their first WBL victory when the Wildcats defeated Shawnee 30-21. The wrestlers will travel to St. Marys on Saturday for the WBL tournament.
