Kenton Athletics are partnering with mCORE™ — Mobile Cardiac Overview and Risk Evaluation — to screen our athletes for the cardiac conditions and abnormalities which may put them at risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). It is shown that Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the #1 killer of Student-Athletes. Additionally, 1 out of 100 kids has an undetected heart condition. With a simple EKG-Echo Test, we can help to minimize this risk and potentially save lives. We are working to acquire sponsorship from local businesses and donors to help decrease the cost to families for this service. Follow the link below for a brief survey about the process.
